Designed by Martha Furman Kojro: This is a wall hanging inspired by mediaeval illuminated manuscripts. I’ve tried to incorporate elements of scent, taste, sound and touch in the work,as well as the obvious sense of sight. Techniques used are Tunisian (Afghan Stitch), Filler Crochet, Broomstick Lace, beading, embroidery, applique and 3-dimensional crochet.
